Marina and Hotel in Golfito
The port town of Golfito is located in the southern Pacific coast of Costa Rica, near the border to Panama. It is separated from the open Pacific by the Osa Peninsula.
Marina: 22 slips, wide docks, large T-Dock for boats up to max. 180 ft, pressurized water, shore power, boat maintenance, provisions, bait, ice, laundry services, Wifi, 24-hour security.

Golfito (“Little Gulf”) is the only city in Costa Rica located within a natural reserve, the Refugio de Vida Silvestre Golfito.
The city consists of a residential area near the port and the city center. Further to the north are the duty-free zone and an airstrip.
The town was a major banana growing region in the 1950s and the major port in southern Costa Rica.
Today ferry boats cross Golfo Dulce (‘sweet gulf’) from Golfito to Puerto Jiménez, which is a starting point for trips to the Osa Peninsula and the famous Corcovado National Park.
Tourism in Golfito focuses on sailing, boating, sports fishing and water sports.
The beaches south of Golfito (Zancudo, Pilon, Pavones) are a paradise for surfers.
