The new Hotel Balmoral offers a new rental option in downtown San José.
10 micro-apartments, ranging from 344 to 926 Square Foot and equipped with internet, cable TV, refrigerator and microwave, can be rented for 2,200 dollars a month. The price includes two cleanings per week and access to the gym.
The hotel offers three options: deluxe, family and suite.
The cost for the Deluxe Apartment is 73.45 dollars per day (tax included). The Family and Suite ones go for 90.40 dollars per day (2,712 dollars per month).
The cost for children (8 to 12 years) is 5 dollars per day, each additional person pays 10 dollars.
Regular rates for hotel rooms range from 231 to 257 dollars a day.
For a stay of 3 to 30 nights the hotel needs your credit card, for a rental period of one to 12 months you need to pay a month’s rent in advance.
The New Hotel Balmoral is located on Avendia Central, a few yards from Plaza de la Cultura and the National Theater, right in the heart of the capital San José.
