Company opens new Inside Sales Center in San José
Microsoft is expanding its activities in Costa Rica. This year, the tech giant wants to hire 280 new employees for its new Inside Sales Center in San José.
The new staff will provide technical support for customers in Latin America. However, the employees are not needed for a conventional transaction service center, according to Alexander Mora, Costa Rica’s foreign minister, but for a facility with high-quality services.
The recruitment process has already begun. The company is looking for candidates with experience in information technology and business.
Foreigners can apply if they have good Spanish or Portuguese language skills and are willing to move to Costa Rica.
Last Saturday, Jean Philip Courtouis, executive vice president of Microsoft, said in an interview in “La Nación” that Costa Rica is and remains the most important country in Latin America and that the country played a “prominent role” in the expansion of cloud technologies for companies.
