In October 2016, Emma Stone, lead actress in the La La Land movie, told Vogue magazine that she would like to visit Costa Rica.
Now, President Luis Guillermo Solís took her word for it.
In a 2-minute video and in perfect English he describes the reasons why the actress should visit Costa Rica: „Costa Rica is a small paradise with lots of things to see and do“.
He even sits down on a grand piano and gives a short interpretation of „City of the Stars”, nominated as Best Original Song.
„Come to Costa Rica, Emma. Perhaps in a few weeks it would be a good place to celebrate“, says the President, in reference to the film’s 14 Oscar nominations.
